Renew Nutrition Consulting, is now providing RD coverage as well as training, survey preparation and assistance with plan of corrections for long-term, skilled nursing, and post-acute care facilities.

 

As a Registered Dietitian for your facility your patients will receive excellent nutritional care as I spend the time to involve each resident and their family, if able and desired, in the assessment and nutrition plan of care. I truly believe in the nutrition care process and each assessment for a resident will involve a thorough review of their medical history, hospital records, biochemical data, medical tests and procedures, anthropometric measurements, a client interview, and a nutrition focused physical exam. I also believe in the interdisciplinary approach and work with other departments to ensure each element of care is taken into consideration for the plan of care.

 

My experience over the years has brought an extensive skill set to ensure clinical documentation as well kitchen sanitation and operations are following local and national CMS and Title 22 guidelines. I have participated in countless surveys as well as DHS/CDPH visits and understand the survey process regarding preparing, answering questions, and completing plan of corrections as needed.
